Study The Different Degrees And Severity Of Hemorrhoids
As you might already have been aware -- hemorrhoids appear in various shapes and sizes, and how severe they are also can vary greatly from case to case. Because of this, there is a technique to differentiate between the completely different degrees of hemorrhoids. By knowing and understanding how mild or severe hemorrhoids can be, you'll be able to appreciate just how much of a difference there is!
Before we go into that, there are a few things that you have to be aware of though. To begin with, the various 'degrees' of hemorrhoids only apply to internal hemorrhoids (i.e. those that have formed inside the rectum). External hemorrhoids (as yet) don't really have a specific system to measure how intense they could be, and the difference should be quite clear.
More importantly however, there is one term that you need to know about, and that's 'prolapsed hemorrhoids'.
If you've heard of this before, good, but just in case you haven't then you should know that prolapsed hemorrhoids are basically just internal hemorrhoids that have grown and been pushed outside the anus itself. Because of this, they look like growths extending from the anus itself, and they may bleed and be awfully painful at times.
Anyway, now that we've covered that, here are the four degrees of internal hemorrhoids:
1. Grade 1
As far as hemorrhoids go, these are the mildest and consist of hemorrhoids that do not prolapse. That means that they remain as internal hemorrhoids but may still bleed when aggravated. Generally speaking, the bulk of hemorrhoids are in this grade, and a few may even pass completely unnoticed by those who suffer from it.
2. Grade 2
In contrast to Grade 1, Grade 2 hemorrhoids do prolapse, but then they reduce in measurement fairly fast afterwards. So although might have a prolapsed hemorrhoid for a while, it is going to shrink and reduce in size until it practically isn't there at all.
3. Grade 3
Next in line would be the variety of hemorrhoids that do prolapse, but do not reduce immediately. The truth is, they must be 'manually' reduced, through various procedures, treatments, and other things. All said and done, this is certainly pesky as it will require you to tackle the hemorrhoid as quickly as possible.
4. Grade 4
Last, but certainly not least, is essentially the most severe type of hemorrhoid -- and this is of the kind that cannot be manually reduced. Unfortunately, this leaves you with few options, and it is definitely difficult... to say the least.
Do you see how the different levels of hemorrhoids could differ greatly? Being aware of the various types of hemorrhoids that are out there, and improving your understanding in general will definitely be of help to you as you fight your own hemorrhoids!

Causes And Therapy Of Internal Hemorrhoids
Hemorrhoids are classed as either internal or external. All hemorrhoids start as an internal hemorrhoid. At their worst, hemorrhoids protrude out the anus even when the muscle is closed.
A Short Description Of Internal Hemorrhoids
The treatment for internal hemorrhoids is different from the treatment for perianal hematoma, with which internal hemorrhoids are often confused with. Anatomically speaking, 'hemorrhoid' is a descriptive term for the tissue that forms the joint between the rectum and the anus.
